Is Chhalaang released on Amazon Prime?

Hansal Mehta directs Chhalaang, a 2020 Indian Hindi-language sports black comedy film. It is directed by Bhushan Kumar and produced by Ajay Devgan, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg. Rajkummar Rao, Nushrat Bharucha, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub star in this movie.

The main shoot began in the fourth quarter of 2018. Chhalaang, formerly known as Turram Khan, was completed in August of 2019. It was originally slated for a theatrical release, but it was instead published online on Amazon Prime Video on November 13, 2020, which happened to be Diwali. The film’s title was changed to ‘Chhalaang,’ which means ‘Jump,’ in December 2019.

The film was originally scheduled to be released on January 31, 2020, however, it was postponed to March 13, 2020, on December 26, 2019. It was also pushed back to June 12, 2020. The film was once again postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hitesh Sonik, Guru Randhawa–Vee, Yo Yo Honey Singh, and Vishal–Shekhar composed the film’s soundtrack, while Luv Ranjan, Guru Randhawa, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Alfaaz, Hommie Dilliwala, and Panchhi Jalonvi wrote the lyrics.

The song ‘Deedar De’ is a remake of Vishal–Shekhar’s ‘Deedar De’ from the film Dus. People on social media chastised Vishal-Shekhar for remaking their song, but the duo explained that they did not rewrite the song; instead, they were given credit for composing the original.
