On August 27, 2021, Hulu launched Vacation Friends. The main cast and director Clay Tarver are planned to return in a sequel named Honeymoon Friends, which will be released in September 2021 by 20th Century Studios.

In September 2021, it was announced that a Honeymoon Friends sequel was in the works.
