Amazon Prime Video, or simply Prime Video, is an Amazon.com, Inc. subscription video-on-demand over-the-top streaming and rental service available as a stand-alone service or as part of Amazon’s Prime membership.
The service primarily distributes Amazon Originals, which are films and television shows produced by Amazon Studios or licensed to Amazon. It also hosts material from other providers, content add-ons, live sporting events, and video rental and purchasing options.
Without needing to sign out and in, the Amazon Prime app allows you to add and move between numerous Amazon accounts in a single browser. Within your Prime Video account, you may create and manage multiple profiles, each with its own set of tailored content. Based on individual profile behavior, each profile will have its own recommendations, viewing history, season progress, and watch list.
On a single Amazon account, you can have up to six user accounts: one default primary profile and five extra profiles. In the Amazon app, follow these steps to switch or add accounts:
- On your phone, open the Amazon Prime app.
- Select Switch Accounts from the Account & Lists menu.
- Select Add account to add a new Amazon account to the browser.
- Now, enter your account information and click Save.
- To switch between accounts, go to the Switch Accounts page and select the account you want.
