The complainant alleged that his vehicle hit Manjrekar’s vehicle after the film maker suddenly applied the brakes. Manjrekar stepped out of the car and the two had an argument following which the filmmaker allegedly slapped and abused the driver. The actor claimed that the complainant was under the influence of alcohol while driving the car.
Talking to the daily about the allegations against him, Manjrekar said that the driver did not even bother to get out of the car to apologize. He also said that the person had filed a complaint on Saturday and not on the same night when he was drunk at the time.
