Sonu Sood ensured to help all people as much as possible during the entire lockout and termed it as the Messiah for the common people. From arranging transportation to taking care of hospital bills, Sonu Sood is trying his best to help as many people as possible. However, the actor now went a step ahead and converted his six-story residential building into a hotel for COVID Warriors.
Apparently, the actor did not have permission from BMC and the civic body has gone ahead to file a police complaint against him at Juhu police station. The building is located on AB Nair Road in Juhu and is named Shakti Sagar. Under the Maharashtra Territory and Town Planning Act (MRTP), Sonu Sood was required to get permission from the civic body. Sonu Sood, however, said that there is no irregularity and he has taken permission from BMC, now awaiting clearance from Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA).
Sonu Sood has also said that if he does not get permission from BMC then he will convert the building into residential.
