The epidemic caused a major delay in many projects in the film industry. Scenes from all films and web series were paused for months during the epidemic. While the shooting has now resumed, it has caused havoc in the actors’ schedules and some changes in casting.
Actor Angira Dhar who was to play the role of Hasina Parkar in the web series Dongri to Dubai The project has bowed out. Avinash Tiwari plays Dawood Ibrahim in the web series directed by Shoojat Saudagar. The shooting of the series was recently resumed in Mad Island, Mumbai. Reportedly, Angira now has to shoot for Ajay Devgn’s Mayday. The makers from Dongri to Dubai also needed the actress on the same date and so Angira decided to walk out of the project.
Now Kritika Kamra will play Dawood’s sister Hasina in the web series. Kamra was last seen in the recently released web series dance of fury. Dongri to Dubai Hussain is based on a book by Zaidi.
