The Bombay High Court granted interim relief to Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel on Monday, January 11, on charges of treason till January 25. According to ANI News, “The High Court was hearing the petition of actor Ranaut seeking cancellation of the FIR filed against him at Bandra Police Station. The court adjourned the hearing till January 25, relieving sisters – Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel from taking any drastic action against them by the police.

The court further asked the complainant to file an answer on Kangana Ranaut’s petition to quash the FIR.

Both Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel reached Mumbai on Friday 8 January to record their statements before the Bandra Police. He was first called on November 23–24, 2020.
