Earlier today, a group of protesting farmers stopped shooting for the upcoming film. Love hostel Which includes Bobby Deol, Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra. When the star cast was not present on the set, the farmer arrived when the film’s crew were setting up their equipment and asked them to leave.
Following protests by the farmers, the crew was wrapped up and left the site. Meanwhile, the farmers spoke to the local press and explained why they protested and asked the team to leave Patiala. A representative of the group while talking to the press said that Bobby Deol, who is a part of the said film, is part of the Deol family, who are close to the BJP. “Bobby Deol’s brother Sunny Deol is a BJP MP, mother Hema Malini is a BJP MP and father Dharmendra is a former BJP MP,” Farmer said.
He said that the Deol family had not spoken about the protests in the last two months, but popstars were ready to tweet in favor of the government soon after Rihanna’s tweet. He also emphasized Hema Malini’s recent tweet, where she commented on international celebrities tweeting on the internal affairs of Indian celebrities, which was against her and her opposition to farmers being found.
In the above tweet, Hema Malini wrote, “Im from foreign celebrities, our glorious country, India, which they have heard, is just a name that boldly describes our internal events and policies! Surprised that What are they trying to achieve, and! ” More clearly, who are they trying to please? “
All this did not go down well with the farmers who are protesting on the Singhu border and demand that the BJP-ruled government at the Center repeal the newly introduced agricultural laws.
The farmer representative further stated that they would not allow any member of the Deol family in Punjab and Haryana to be shot and would not allow them to enter their state.
