Third Friday begins at Rs 0.46 crore
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has completed two weeks and is now measuring which milestone falls first. Early third-Friday tracking, reported by Sacnilk and cited by The Times of India, put the day’s net at Rs 0.46 crore across 1,147 shows. That lifts the India net to Rs 333.46 crore and India gross to Rs 399.59 crore.
Worldwide, the film closed its second week at Rs 515.05 crore gross. The global figure combines India gross of Rs 399.05 crore at the end of week two with Rs 116 crore in overseas gross.
Why the third weekend matters
The domestic run now hinges on a simple arithmetic problem. Week one delivered Rs 245.50 crore net, opening with Rs 62 crore on Day 1. Week two added Rs 87.50 crore net, held up by a second weekend of Rs 26.50 crore on Day 9 and Rs 22.50 crore on Day 10.
That is the shape of a film with legs rather than a purely front-loaded opening. The weekday band of Rs 5-8.50 crore, easing to Rs 4.25 crore on Day 14, matters less than what the third weekend does with it.
- Week 1: Rs 245.50 crore India net
- Week 2: Rs 87.50 crore India net, led by the weekend
- Worldwide gross: Rs 515.05 crore by end of week two
The Rs 400 crore gross mark is moments away
At Rs 399.59 crore, the India gross total sits less than half a crore from the Rs 400 crore milestone – a threshold that should fall once the final Day 15 numbers are tallied, if not sooner. The Rs 350 crore India net benchmark is further out: Rs 16.54 crore separates the current total from that target.
A third-weekend hold anywhere near the second weekend’s pace would close most of that gap. Sustained international momentum through the third week could push the worldwide gross toward Rs 550 crore, the published projections note, cementing the film among the highest-grossing Hindi releases of the year.
The film behind the numbers
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion closes the long-running story of the Salgaonkar family and the police. Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar again leans on his intellect and cinema obsession to defend his family against fresh legal trouble. Tabu returns as former IG Meera Deshmukh, with Rajat Kapoor, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav, plus new additions Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Rajveer Singh Tomar and Prakash Raj as public prosecutor Indrajith Shetty.
These figures remain approximate, compiled from public and industry sources, and may be revised as studio data is finalised.
