Drishyam 3 Nears Rs 350 Crore India Net After Tuesday Rebound

Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3 adds Rs 8.50 crore on day 12, up 41% from Monday, with India net at Rs 323.50 crore and worldwide gross at Rs 501.80 crore.

Drishyam 3 Nears Rs 350 Crore India Net

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion steadied itself on its second Tuesday, bouncing back from a sharp Monday decline to keep the Rs 350 crore India-net milestone within reach. The Ajay Devgn-led final chapter in the crime-thriller series collected Rs 8.50 crore across 14,832 shows on day 12, a 41% rise over Monday’s Rs 6.25 crore, according to Sacnilk.

The rebound arrives at a useful moment. After Sunday’s Rs 22.50 crore haul, Monday’s collections fell by 72.2%, a slide that can signal audience fatigue. A 41% Tuesday recovery suggests demand is returning midweek rather than waiting for the next weekend—the pattern a franchise film needs if it is to turn a strong first week into a longer cume.

Day 12 by the numbers

  • Day 12 India net: Rs 8.50 crore
  • Change from Monday: up 41% from Rs 6.25 crore
  • India net total after 12 days: Rs 323.50 crore
  • Overseas gross total: Rs 114.00 crore
  • Worldwide gross total: Rs 501.80 crore

The film had already collected Rs 245.50 crore in its first week. The second week is adding a smaller but still meaningful layer: the total domestic net now sits at Rs 323.50 crore, leaving about Rs 26.50 crore to reach Rs 350 crore.

Why the Tuesday bump matters

For Drishyam 3, the path to Rs 350 crore is not about one big day. It is about holding midweek numbers while screens and show counts remain available. The day-12 figure of Rs 8.50 crore is lower than a Sunday peak, but it keeps the arithmetic workable. The next test is whether the film can stay in the Rs 7-9 crore band through the working week and then find a second-weekend lift.

That test matters because weekday collections are harder to buy with marketing and depend more on word of mouth. Drishyam as a property has always leaned on that word of mouth: each chapter resets the same moral question of how far an ordinary man will go to protect a secret. The final chapter’s run is now as much about whether the audience is recommending it as it is about the brand’s pull.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Saran and Prakash Raj. It released on October 2, 2026, and is backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios. Mid-Day’s review said the film “delivers the twists, tension and performances expected from the franchise,” a judgment that now has a box-office echo: the final chapter is holding.

The worldwide gross of Rs 501.80 crore shows the film is building a cushion beyond the domestic market. But the number the trade is watching remains the India net figure. With Rs 350 crore now close enough to be an active target, Wednesday and Thursday will reveal whether Tuesday’s rebound was a recovery or a one-day correction.

In week two, a hold is rarely glamorous. But for the concluding chapter of a franchise that has made patience its narrative signature, a 41% Tuesday recovery is the kind of incremental gain that keeps a 350 crore finish on the table.
