Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has moved into its second weekend with enough momentum to make the Rs 300 crore India net milestone a live question rather than a distant target.
By Day 9 (second Saturday), early trade figures reported by Sacnilk put the film’s India net at Rs 273.30 crore from around 9,875 shows, with final day collections still to be reported. The film had already crossed Rs 407 crore in worldwide gross on Day 8.
The arithmetic so far
Week one closed at Rs 245.50 crore India net. Day 8 added Rs 14.50 crore, taking India net to Rs 260 crore and India gross to Rs 312 crore. Day 9’s early Rs 13.30 crore nudges the India net to Rs 273.30 crore.
- Week 1 India net: Rs 245.50 crore
- Day 8 India net: Rs 14.50 crore
- Day 9 live India net: Rs 13.30 crore
- Worldwide gross after Day 8: Rs 407 crore
What the arc says
The daily pattern is the familiar shape of a big Hindi thriller: a strong opening weekend, a steep Monday drop, then a settled post-holiday run. The opening weekend stacked up Rs 62 crore, Rs 53.50 crore and Rs 61 crore, followed by weekdays of Rs 21 crore, Rs 19.50 crore, Rs 15.50 crore and Rs 13 crore. The second Friday rise to Rs 14.50 crore suggests the film is holding in its second weekend rather than tailing off sharply.
Overseas, week one closed at Rs 89 crore gross. Day 8 added Rs 6 crore to take the overseas total to Rs 95 crore, lifting the worldwide gross from Rs 383.60 crore at the end of week one to Rs 407 crore.
Why the benchmark matters
The Rs 300 crore India net mark has become a credibility line for major Hindi films, and Drishyam 3 is now positioned to test it. The picture is the declared final chapter of the franchise that began with Drishyam in 2015 and continued with Drishyam 2 in 2022, with Ajay Devgn returning as Vijay Salgaonkar and Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj in the ensemble. Director Abhishek Pathak’s film runs a precise 150 minutes and was passed by the CBFC with a UA 16+ rating and no cuts.
For readers who track box office as a record, the next checkpoint is not only the Rs 300 crore domestic figure but a worldwide gross in the Rs 415-420 crore range that the trade is now watching for.
