Drishyam 3: The Conclusion found a midweek pulse in its third week. The Ajay Devgn and Tabu thriller collected Rs 6.15 crore net in India on Tuesday, a 75.7 per cent jump from Monday’s Rs 3.50 crore, according to figures cited by Sacnilk.
The upturn pushes the film’s cumulative domestic net to Rs 357 crore after 19 days. India gross stands at Rs 427.72 crore; with another Rs 75 lakh from overseas on Tuesday, the worldwide gross now stands at Rs 556.22 crore.
A Tuesday recovery
The Tuesday figure came from 4,694 shows. Hindi 2D screenings recorded an average occupancy of 41.37 per cent. Evening shows performed best at 44.15 per cent, followed by afternoon at 39.92 per cent, night at 37.85 per cent and morning at 23.69 per cent.
The rebound follows the familiar third-week rhythm: Rs 3.10 crore on Friday, Rs 5 crore on Saturday, Rs 6.25 crore on Sunday and Rs 3.50 crore on Monday. A 75.7 per cent Tuesday recovery matters because third-week weekdays usually decide how much more a film can add after its weekend surges.
Where Drishyam 3 stands
- India net: Rs 357 cr
- India gross: Rs 427.72 cr
- Overseas gross: Rs 128.50 cr
- Worldwide gross: Rs 556.22 cr
- Footfalls: 15,309,747
That footfall number is useful context for a Hindi release in its third week: Tuesday alone added 308,138 admissions. The film is not relying solely on premium ticket pricing; it is still putting people in seats on a working day.
The arc so far
The film opened on October 2 with Rs 62 crore net, followed by Rs 53.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 61 crore on Sunday. Week one closed at Rs 245.50 crore, and week two added Rs 87.50 crore. In box office terms, a hold is simply a film’s capacity to keep drawing audiences once the opening rush subsides—and this franchise is still doing that into its third week.
On screen, the third chapter returns to Vijay Salgaonkar as he faces new scrutiny. Meera Deshmukh returns with revenge as her motive, and a fresh Crime Branch officer tests the alibis and psychological defences that carried the earlier films. The continuing turnout suggests that story pull is translating into ticket sales beyond the holiday period.
What the next week will show
The second weekend produced Rs 26.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 22.50 crore on Sunday before weekdays thinned. If Wednesday and Thursday hold above Monday’s level, the third week will extend the total without waiting for another holiday. Official studio updates may still revise these figures.
