Day 14: crossing ₹332 crore
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has completed 14 days in cinemas and crossed the ₹330 crore net mark in India. Sacnilk estimates that the film added ₹3.75 crore on Thursday, taking its domestic total to about ₹332.50 crore, with nearly 10 percent occupancy across 10,797 shows.
That is a step down from Wednesday’s ₹5.25 crore. Trade reports put the decline at around 42.5 percent. The drop is not unusual for a film entering its third week, when weekday numbers typically soften, but it makes the next three days more important than the last weekday number.
Why the third weekend is the real test
The film has already built a sizeable lead, but the calendar has turned competitive. Jailer 2 released on October 15 and crossed the ₹50 crore mark on its opening day, according to trade accounts. Friday brings Street Fighter, Prahaar, Nayyi Navelli and several other releases, squeezing screen space and audience attention.
- Day 14 net: ₹3.75 crore
- India total: ₹332.50 crore
- Shows: 10,797
- Third-weekend estimate: ₹20–25 crore more
If that weekend estimate holds, the India total would move close to ₹350 crore. That is the next milestone trade trackers are watching. A ₹350 crore finish would require the film to hold enough shows and maintain audience interest while a new Rajinikanth release is gathering momentum.
For readers, the useful marker is not Thursday’s dip but the Saturday-to-Sunday hold. A strong third weekend keeps the ₹350 crore conversation alive; a sharper fall would make the steady climb harder with each new release.
The conclusion, validated by the original
The box-office run is also being noticed within the larger Drishyam universe. Mohanlal, who originated the role of Georgekutty in the Malayalam films, watched the Hindi conclusion and called the ending a “befitting end.” He congratulated Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ajay Devgn and the entire cast and crew.
That acknowledgement is notable because the Hindi films have been measured against the original franchise that began with Mohanlal. A nod from its first protagonist is an industry marker as much as a fan moment.
