The final chapter of Hindi cinema’s most durable suspense franchise is now in the hold-and-watch phase. Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has moved past its second weekend and is collecting weekday numbers that will decide whether the Rs 500 crore worldwide mark arrives before the next slate of releases.

As of Day 12, early estimates from Sacnilk put the film’s net collection at Rs 1.50 crore from 5,412 shows, taking its India net total to Rs 316.75 crore and India gross to Rs 380.01 crore. The day’s final figure and fresh overseas numbers were still awaited at source time.

Weekdays, not weekends, will settle the milestone

The arithmetic is favourable but not automatic. The film’s first week closed at Rs 245.50 crore net and Rs 294.60 crore gross. The second Friday added Rs 14.50 crore; the second Saturday jumped to Rs 26.50 crore, and Sunday contributed Rs 22.50 crore. Day 11, a Monday, naturally cooled to Rs 6.25 crore.

Day 12’s initial Rs 1.50 crore is a live mid-day figure, not a final score. The more useful signal is the size of the Monday-to-Tuesday decline and whether the film can hold screens through the working week.

Overseas, the film has collected Rs 111.50 crore gross through Day 11. By the last reported combined tally, that puts the worldwide gross at Rs 489.74 crore. The Rs 500 crore global mark is now a single strong day away in principle, but it still has to be banked.

Why this chapter matters

The Drishyam series has become one of Hindi cinema’s rare franchises that grows on logic rather than scale. Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar remains a family man whose survival depends on cinema-inspired reasoning and foresight. Abhishek Pathak directs the conclusive chapter that ties off the long game between the Salgaonkar family and law enforcement. Tabu returns as former IG Meera Deshmukh, with Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj joining the investigation as SP Rajveer Singh Tomar and public prosecutor Indrajith Shetty.

The second-week hold matters because the release calendar is closing in. The source names Prahaar, led by Rajkummar Rao, and Nayyi Navelli, led by Yami Gautam, as the next wave. Once those titles arrive, show counts and audience attention will be redistributed.

What to track next

  • Day 12 final net and the overseas addition, and whether worldwide gross crosses Rs 500 crore this week.
  • Show count through Thursday; a stable count near 5,412 would indicate exhibitors expect the hold to continue.
  • The release-date pressure from Prahaar and Nayyi Navelli and how quickly screens shift.

For an audience that follows both the film and its box office logic, the next two days are less about whether the film will fall and more about how gently it declines. That slope will determine whether the final chapter closes with a round number or merely near one.
