Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly had three to four projects in the works, including the one with late actor Kamal Jain on which they both collaborated. He said that among the other movies was Sarpakal, directed by Oscar winner Rumy Jafry, and Resul Pookutty’s Sarpakal.
Sushant Singh Rajput was set to appear in Rumy Jafry’s forthcoming romantic comedy with rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Rumy had previously stated that the movie’s filming was supposed to start in May but was postponed because of the lockdown.
Sharing Sushan’t future strategy, Kamal said, “After Chichhore, he used to read like 15-20 scripts in a month but he was very selective and wanted to do big scale films now. On the phone, we discussed about his projects, and he was quite focused on all the films in his hand, hence, I am surprised and shocked when I got the news of his demise this way.”
On Sunday, Sushant Singh Rajput’s body was discovered at his Mumbai residence in Bandra. According to reports, he paid his housekeeper and cook’s debts a few days before committing suicide.
