After delivering a powerful performance in Sam Bahadur, Vicky Kaushal may be ready to swap army fatigues for spy gear! Buzz is that the acclaimed actor is in advanced talks with Yash Raj Films (YRF) to headline a new espionage thriller under their massively expanding YRF Spy Universe.
According to a Media report, conversations between Vicky and the studio have been underway for some time. A source close to the development revealed, “Vicky is very keen to join the franchise. The makers are planning a fresh narrative within the existing spy world, and believe Vicky has the charisma and gravitas to lead a standalone chapter.”
While YRF hasn’t officially confirmed the project yet, this would mark a major addition to the franchise, which already boasts powerhouses like Salman Khan (Tiger), Shah Rukh Khan (Pathaan), and Hrithik Roshan (Kabir from War).
Interestingly, this development comes shortly after Alia Bhatt and Sharvari kicked off the shoot for Alpha, the first female-led spy film in the YRF universe.
