Minutes before her Filmfare performance, Janhvi Kapoor said that the zip on her dress had been torn twice.
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor stunned in a gown on Thursday night at the glittering Filmfare Awards ceremony. She performed brilliantly on stage as the audience applauded her. But did you know that her dress’ zip tore twice just before her dancing performance? It’s true what you just read! In her most recent Instagram post, the Dhadak actress confirmed this and posted a few images of herself having her outfit repaired.
Janhvi uploaded images on her Instagram account and stated, “When the zip of your gown rips 5 minutes before the red carpet, and 12 minutes before you have to perform on stage.” She was shown sitting inside the automobile as a tailor sewed the back of her gown’s hem in one of the photos. The Roohi actress was shown in another image relaxing on the Filmfare stage’s side stairs before to her on-stage performance.
Janhvi’s performance in Mili earned her a nomination for Best Actor (Female) at the Filmfare Awards. The honour went to Alia Bhatt for her work in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Janhvi’s next appearance will be in the forthcoming movie Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, where she portrays a cricket player. Rajkummar Rao and the actress will be on screen together. In addition, Kapoor is slated to star alongside Varun Dhawan in Nitesh Tiwari’s film “Bawaal.”
With the upcoming movie, tentatively titled NTR 30, Janhvi will also make her Telugu debut alongside Jr. NTR. Janatha Garage will oversee the project.
