The second wave of covid-19 has hit India hard. Many people have come forward to help the needy in these crucial times. One man has to be a good Samaritan for many and he is none other than Sonu Sood. He has helped many who failed to get medical resources like oxygen cylinders or even a bed. He used social media to find help and reach out to people in need. Last year, the actor has also hailed for helping migrant workers amidst the covid-19 pandemic. Sonu Sood received a lot of praise for his help towards the needy.
Recently in Srikalahasti of Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district, Sonu Sood’s life size poster was showered with milk as an appreciation for the actor. A video has also been viral where we can see some of his fans are pouring out milk on his poster. The actor reacted to the post and mentioned, ‘Humbled’.
Speaking about the same, he said, “Because this is the way the people in the South show their love for you. They are very demonstrative about their feelings. And they never hide their feelings for the ones they love. Actors in the South have had temples dedicated to them,”
Earlier, Sonu Sood and his team had helped Bengaluru people by providing them with oxygen cylinders. The actor was able to reach out to 22 people who were suffering and were in need of oxygen. They would have lost their lives, but Sonu Sood and his team quickly arranged for oxygen cylinders.
Besides Sonu Sood, several Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan and many other film stars have forward to help those who are in need.
