Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan visited Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s grave on his 10th death anniversary today, (September 22). The legendary cricketer fondly known as Tiger was buried at his ancestral home, next to the grave of his father, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi. He passed away following a lung infection at the age of 70 on September 22, 2011. Earlier, Soha and her elder sister, Saba Ali Khan, remembered their father by sharing his old pictures.
After sharing their father’s pictures on Instagram on his 10th death anniversary, Soha visited his grave at Pataudi Palace in Haryana with her mother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, and her daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. She posted pictures from their visit. In the photos, Soha is seen praying with Sharmila and Inaaya at Pataudi’s grave. She wrote, “You are never dead to us until we forget you #inmemory #10years.”
On his death anniversary today, Soha and Saba remembered him by sharing throwback pictures.
Soha shared a video featuring a bunch of pictures of the late cricketer displaced at the Pataudi Palace.
Saba Ali Khan, on the other hand, penned an emotional note for her late father. “Abba….. I miss you every day and know you watch over me. It doesn’t feel like a decade since you left us… only just yesterday. You’ll stay in our hearts forever. Love you always,” she added.
Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore got married in 1969. The couple has three children – son Saif Ali Khan, daughters Saba Ali Khan, and Soha Ali Khan.
