Raj Kumar Hirani’s next project starts Shah Rukh Khan as an illegal immigrant. The major portion of the film is to be shot in Canada. The makers are sorting out the basics for shooting in Canada in relation to the ongoing pandemic.
The film marks the first collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with creative maverick. The Bollywood Baadshah has not been seen for quite some time now. The screenplay of the film is co-written by Rajkumar Hirani, Kanika Dhillon, and Abhijat Joshi.
Although Shah Rukh has agreed to allot dates, clearance from Canada is yet to be received. Once it is cleared, the shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s untitled film will start. It is expected that the shooting will begin in 2022.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has not been seen on screen since 2019. The superstar’s last film was Aanand L Rai’s Zero. The film totally bombed at the box office.
