India’s second wave of coronavirus disease is less severe than the previous one in a far as fatalities are concerned. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had recently tested positive for Covid-19 and after testing negative, they decided to spend some time together. The duo was clicked at the Mumbai International airport leaving the city and going on a vacation to the Maldives. As we all know, Maldives has been the celebrity favourite destination and stood number one in my bucket list amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Amid the increasing coronavirus cases in the state and the city, it seems that the celebs still want to run off from the current situation and take a break.
However, netizens were not pleased and slammed the duo for running away from the coronavirus chaos. While some of the users called them ‘bhagode’, while some asked, ‘Maldives mein corona nai hai kya’?

The actors were spotted at the airport and kept their fashion game on point with colour-coordinated outfits. Ranbir wore light blue denim jeans, a white T-shirt, sneakers for his airport look. Alia opted for a white ensemble that had a collared, box silhouetted top, which she paired with white pants, heels and yellow crop top inside her white outfit.
On the work front, Alia will be seen in her upcoming film, ‘Brahmastra’, alongside beau Ranbir Kapoor and megastar Amitabh Bachchan. The film is been produced by Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions. Alia Bhatt has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, SSrajamouli and Shah Rukh Khan’s Darlins in the pipeline.
