    Rajiv Kapoor Death: Ranbir, Neetu Kapoor, And Other Celebrities Arrive To Pay Tribute To Rajiv Kapoor

    Indian cinema actor Rajiv Kapoor breathed his last breath on February 9, Tuesday morning. Rajiv Kapoor was the younger brother of Randhir Kapoor and late actor Rishi Kapoor. He was known as Chimpu. He was an actor, producer as well as a director. At the age of 59 he passed away after a massive heart attack.

    He made his debut in the year 1983 with the movie, ‘Ek Jaan Hain Hum’, Ram Teri Ganga Maili in the year 1985. Some of his most successful movies are Aasmaan, Lover Boy, Zabardast and Hum To Chale Pardes. In the year 1991, Rajiv produced the movie, ‘Henna’, which was directed by his brother Randhir. In the year 1996, he made his directorial debut with the movie PremGranth which featured his brother Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. The movie did not do well at the box office. His last movie was Zimmedaar in the year 1990, after which he started his career as a producer and a director.

    Bollywood celebrities like Lata Mangeshkar, Naved Jafri, and Neha Dhupia took to their social media to mourn the death of the actor. Kareena Kapoor and Karishma Kapoor also arrived at the Kapoor residence to pay their respects to the actor. Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and late Rajiv sister-in-law also reached the residence. Other celebrities like Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and Actor Chunky Panday were also seen near the kapoor residences.

    In a conversation with the media, Rajivs elder brother said, “I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him. I am at the hospital, waiting for the body.” Kareena Kapoor Khan and Neetu Kapoor among others had taken to social media to mourn the unfortunate passing away of their family member.
