The current situation of covid second wave has affected India widely. It has called for various people to step up and help out others. Several bollywood celebrities have come forward to extend help towards to the covid patients.
Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has also lend a helping hand to the frontline workers fighting Covid-19. The Pune Police also thanked Jacqueline for her generous contribution towards the Pune Police Fountain.
The Twitter reads, “Pune Police thanks @Asli_Jacqueline for her generous contribution towards the Pune Police Foundation. Your kind gesture will go a long way for our team that continues to perform their duties on the frontline in this pandemic.#WeAreTogether @CPPuneCity@Asli_Jacqueline”
The actress also took to her Twitter handle and wrote a message to the hardworking Pune Police force. Her post reads, “I salute @PuneCityPolice who have been tirelessly working on the frontline and contributing selflessly in our fight with Covid 19. We are in this together”.
Jacqueline Fernandez had recently announced the launch of her ‘You Only Live Once’ foundation to create and share stories of kindness amid the covid-19 pandemic. She had also visited an NGO, Roti bank, in Mumbai and helped prepare and distribute meals to people. Jacqueline has announced her initiative of helping the stray animals. The actress hopes to create a movement to resolve the issue of our strays and protect their well being.
The second wave of coronavirus has infected many people, and the number of Covid-19 positive cases has been rapidly rising. The country is currently witnessing a devasting wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. As many as 3,82,315 new covid-19 cases were reported across the country, taking the total active cases to 34,87,229.
