On Friday, actress Priyanka Chopra was appointed as one of the brand representatives of American lingerie giant Victoria’s secret. The actress revealed about the campaign and shared about excitement.
She said, “I can vividly remember the thrill at 16 openings a gift from Victoria’s Secret given to me by my aunt. A new era always brings a sense of freedom, and the opportunity to play a part in shaping the evolution and future success of a heritage brand like Victoria’s Secret is so exciting to me.”
Priyanka shared that she is looking forward to develop future collection, “As we work together to chart the path forward in a new and impactful way, I’m not only looking forward to developing future collections that are inclusive of all people, but I am most excited for new customers and for those who have always been a customer of Victoria’s Secret to feel represented and like they belong,”
Victoria’s Secret has been long under scrutiny for being all about male gaze instead of caring about what their customers actually seeking. With the new initiatives, the lingerie gaint intends to bring about the change. All the women representating the brand will be revealing their experiences as they champion other women and support their journey.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in the Netflix film, The White Tiger. The movie is bagged an Oscar nomination in the best Best Adapted Screenplay category.
