Post release of Girl on the Train, Netflix has lined up the release of Sardar Ka Grandson written by Anuja Chauhan and Directed by Kaashvi Nair. The first look of the lead cast shared by Netflix appears to be quite interesting. The film is about the expedition of a NRI played by Arjun Kapoor who returns to India at the behest of his grandmother who is Sardar. Ace actor Neena Gupta is in the role of Grandmother who is both caring and fun loving and the grandson leaves to stone unturned to fulfill her last wish.
The film is a family drama centered around a typical Punjabi family with whom people in general will relate to. Arjun Kapoor is quite enthusiastic the prospect of this forthcoming film having brilliant actorss like, Soni Razdan, Divya Seth, Kumud Mishra and Kanwaljit. Arjun is specifically thrilled to have worked with the veteran actor Neena Gupta, who according to him is the greatest role model when it comes to carriage and deliverables.
The storyline is supposedly emotional and at the same time entertaining featuring a cross-border romance. As per Neena Gupta this film is her maiden venture into the character of a quite old lady and she is quite apprehensive about the audience reaction. The film also features John Abraham, Rakul Preet and Aditi Rao Hydari and is produced by T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment
