Veteran star Jaya Bachchan will be featuring in her OTT debut with the web series titled ‘Sadarbahar’. The actress will be seen playing a powerful character in Endemol Shine India’s upcoming project. As per the reports, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have made their OTT debuts.
Jaya Bachchan has already started shooting way back in February. After the Maharashtra government imposed a full-fledged lockdown, the shoot came to a halt. And now, after few months, the team of Sardabahar has also resumed shooting for the show.
The team has reportedly shot two sequences, one at Sony MOny and another at Apna bazaar in Andheri, Mumbai. The shot were held in a strict bio-bubble format comprising only 50 members in the unit. The story is being shot in real location, The makers have started shooting with proper precautions and restrictions.
On the work front, the veteran actress Jaya Bachchan started her career with the first screen role as an adult in in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s film Guddi (1971), thereby marking 2021.
She had also featured in several movies which includes the films ‘Ki & Ka’, starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. She is currently also a serving Rajya Shabha member, representing Samajwadi Party. This is her fourth term as a Member of Parliament. Jaya Bachchan is the third member of the Bachchan family to enter the digital world. As per the reports, Jaya Bachchan might also be seen with a Marathi film directed by Gajendra Ahire, who is known for his films like Shevri and Anumati.
