    Is the War movie copied?

Without even bothering to think about the title, the film’s creators opted to borrow elements from a Hollywood action picture titled War. Tiger Shroff’s character in the Bollywood film is shown doing something with plastic surgery. Even the twist was taken straight from a Hollywood film, using the same angle.

War is a Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner in 2019. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff feature in the lead roles, with Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Anupriya Goenka, and Soni Razdan rounding out the cast.

It’s the third book in the YRF Spy Universe series. The film was originally titled Fighters before being renamed War when the official teaser trailer was published on July 15, 2019. The story revolves around an Indian soldier tasked with assassinating his former instructor, who has gone rogue.

War, a film with a budget of Rupees 1.70 billion (US$23 million), premiered in conventional, 4DX, and MX4D theatres globally on Gandhi Jayanti’s 5-day extended weekend in October 2, 2019. It garnered largely excellent reviews from critics and audiences, with an appreciation for Roshan and Shroff’s performances, visual effects, action sequences, and the song ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar,’ however, criticism was mostly directed at the screenplay and lack of creativity.

With over Rupees 530 million (US$7.0 million) on its first day, War set a new record for the highest opening day collection by a Bollywood film in India.
