    International Nurses Day: Abhishek Bachchan Salutes Nurses Who Are Tirelessly Working During The Pandemic

    Actor Abhishek Bachchan recently penned a heartwarming note to all the nurses across the country on the occasion of International Nurses Day. As we all know, the health care workers are working tiredlessly for the covid patient. The actor took to the Twitter handle and thanked all the nurses who risk their own lives to protect their parents.

    Talking about the same, Abhishek shared a video where we can see some nurses spoke about the challenges they have been facing while working amidst the covid situation.

    Abhishek wrote, “The nurses have kept humanity above everything else working long hours & risking their lives to protect their patients. This #InternationalNursesDay I salute their relentless efforts & their undying spirit to fight Covid-19. We’ll always be indebted to you.”

    Recently, a user criticised him by saying, “Wish you did more than just sending hugs! People are dying without oxygen & beds. Hugs are just not enough, Sir.”

    Abhishek also replied to a troll who called him out for sending ‘hugs’ while the country faces a crisis. He had tweeted, “Here’s sending out a huge virtual hug to you all. RT and spread the love. In times like these, we need it. #MaskOn.”

    India has hit hard by the second wave of covid-19. Hospitals in India have been facing an acute shortage of oxygen, beds and ventilators since covid-19 has spread all over the country. India saw a drastic fall in health infrastructure.

    On the work front, Abhishek was last seen in ‘The Big Bull’ with Sohum Shah and Ileana D’cruz, the film will be released on Disney+ Hotstar in 2021. The actor will be seen in ‘Dasvi’ with Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur, helmed by Tushar Jalota.
