Ajnabee, a Bollywood Hindi-language mystery thriller film directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Vijay Galani, was released in 2001. Along with Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Bipasha Basu, Johnny Lever, Dalip Tahil, Narendra Bedi, and Sharat Saxena play supporting roles.
This film is based on Alan J. Pakula’s American thriller Consenting Adults, which was released in 1992. After Khiladi, this was Akshay Kumar’s second collaboration with Abbas-Mustan, and Bobby Deol’s second collaboration with Abbas-Mustan after Soldier. When it first came out, it received mixed to fantastic reviews from critics, and it was a box office success.
