It has been almost a decade that the audience saw Genelia Deshmukh on the silver screen. The last movie of the actress was a romcom, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. Genelia was cast opposite her husband Riteish Deshmukh in the film. Genelia also starred in a Telugu release during the same year.
Considering the fact that both her kids have grown up now, Genelia Deshmukh is planning a comeback. “I think I am ready. I have been ready for a while. Earlier when I used to act, I had to work every day. But now I have the opportunity to choose for myself”, the actress said.
Additionally, Genelia mentioned, “Being an actor means a lot to me. That is in terms of acting and not the whole glitz and glamour. I love acting and expressing myself. So, I am just waiting for the right kind of things to come my way.”
Meanwhile, Genelia Deshmukh is also clear on possible future projects. “I feel that there is so much I can do. I have always been this bubbly girl but I can also be a bubbly mum. The industry at the moment is all about positivity,” she claims.
