After a user on the internet claimed that Deepika Padukone was following a Twitter user who regularly disparages Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone became the target of trolling.
Prior to Alia Bhatt’s significant red carpet debut at the MET Gala, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone shared her BTS photos from the Oscars 2023, which have since gone viral. Netizens are doing all in their can to make fun of her, from labeling her as insecure to bringing up her alleged jealousy. The actress allegedly followed their backup account that often criticizes the Dear Zindagi actress, according to a tweet that has now surfaced from a netizen.
The Twitter user name “Instajustice13” claimed that Deepika began following their backup account while posting video clips of her Twitter follower list. Since the actress reportedly unfollowed the account shortly after these tweets went viral, it is still unclear whether the post is genuine. She titled the picture, “Not #DeepikaPadukone following my backup account.”
Internet users, however, were eager to mock the 37-year-old actress in the post’s comment area with filthy, cruel remarks and memes. One even made the effort to write, “Deepika i never liked you. Neither u r good human being nor good actor.” She was also saved by a fan, who claimed on Twitter that she had DM’d Deepika to inform her of the continuing Twitter dispute before unfollowing the page. Well, it’s true that in this day and age, when internet users believe everything they read on social media, it’s very simple for haters to make up stories about celebrities and spread them online.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Pathaan was Deepika Padukone’s most recent appearance. She is working on the remake of The Intern, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, and films starring Hrithik Roshan, Prabhas, and Project K. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt will be starring opposite Ranveer Singh in Karan Johar’s return film Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahani, Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in her Hollywood debut, Heart Of Stone. She is also planning to franchise Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
