    Bappi Lahiri collapsed in his daughter Reema Lahiri’s arm, Bappa Lahiri to reach India by 2 AM

    India’s Disco King Bappi Lahiri passed away on Tuesday night in Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital. He was 69. The legendary singer had tested positive for Covid-19 in April 2020. His condition had deteriorated since then. Now, his close family friend has revealed that the singer collapsed in his daughter Reema Lahiri’s arm.

    Bappi Da rules the 80s and 90s disco music. The nation is mourning his untimely demise. One of his close family friends talked about his last moments and said, “Bappi Da collapsed in his daughter Rema’s arms. His daughter Rema was the last person he was speaking to. The entire family is devastated.”

    The family friend further added that Bappi Da’s son, Bappa Lahiri, would get back by 2 AM for his last rites from the US. He said, “Bappi Da had Covid last year and after that, his condition worsened. He never recovered from it. His son Bappa is slated to reach India by 2 am tonight.”

    Bappi Lahiri was being treated for multiple health issues. He passed away due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). His last rites will be performed on Thursday.

    The singer is survived by his wife Chitrani, two children — daughter Reema, and a son Bappa Lahiri.
