Rinku Singh Nikumbh who portrayed a supporting role in actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl passed away due to covid-19. As per the reports, the actress was suffering from covid for the last few days and was admitted to an ICU. Rinku’s cousin Chanda Singh Nikumbh has shared the news.
Rinku’s cousin stated that the actress had taken the first dose of the covid-19 vaccine on May 7, and was ready to take the second jab soon. Earlier, she had tested positive for coronavirus on May 25. After which health was down and she was shifted to the hospital and admitted to the ICU. The actress was suffering from asthma.
Her sister mentioned, “She was considering going to Goa for an ad shoot recently, but we didn’t let her go as we wanted to protect her from COVID. Who knew, she would be infected at home.”
Earlier, the actress had posted a picture of herself with a caption, ‘beauty in black’ followed with some emoji. Some of her fans and followers also expressed their condolences and thoughts on her recent Instagram post. One of the fans wrote, ‘RIP Ron… Still cannot believe this’ while the other fan wrote, ‘May Her soul rest in eternal peace..Strength Peace Light Love to family friends fans and all near dear ones..
Rinku Singh Nikumbh was also a part of many popular series like Chidiyaghar, Meri Haanikarak Biwi and other. The actress was also roped in for Sony Entertainment television’s medical drama titled Dhadkan. The movie ‘Dream Girl’ is a comedy film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz and Abhishek Banerjee, Raj Bhansali and Nidhi Bisht in a significant role. The movie was released in 2019.
