    Abhishek Banerjee debuts in Tollywood with Highway – Poster Out!

    Abhishek Banerjee is one actor who in a short span created an impact with his variety of performances. Be it Jaana in Stree or Subodh aka Compounder in Mirzapur or Hathoda Tyagi in Pataal Lok or Eshit (feisty lawyer) in Rashmi Rocket he has always proved his mettle as an actor.

    The Young Bollywood actor Abhishek Banerjee did justice to almost all the roles he has played so far. But the actor’s most remembered performance is in the web series Paatal Lok.

    While Rashmi Rocket marks the first movie where Abhishek has taken on the role of a lawyer, The actor par excellence had bowled the audience over with his stellar performance in the film. His court scenes were something to watch out for in the film.

    With multiple releases this year, the actor has brought his acting prowess to its full glory. Now, marking his foray into Telugu cinema, Banerjee has just released the poster of his first Telugu film ‘Highway’. The movie is a nerve-wracking crime thriller directed by KV Guhan. It also stars Anand Devrakonda, Saiyami Kher in pivotal roles.

    Abhishek Banerjee feels “Highway” is special

    Talking about the same, Abhishek shared, “Highway is a psychological crime thriller with a refreshing story. It is a very special film for me, as it’s my first Telugu project. It was a different experience shooting for this one. As for my fans, they will see me in a very different role in Highway.”

    Furthermore, The movie has Malayalam beauty, Manasa Radhakrishnan, in the female lead role. During the media interaction, Abhishek Banerjee said, “Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu is where I spent a considerable amount of my childhood. and I grew up watching Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam movies. So in a way shooting for a Telugu film is like going back to childhood.”

    Lastly, Abhishek Banerjee maintained that he is truly excited to work alongside the young actor Anand Deverakonda.

    Meanwhile, the poster looks intriguing and it reminds us of Abhishek Banerjee as Hathoda Tyagi. The release date of the movie will be announced soon.
