Aishwarya Rai’s young co-star hails her warmth on JW Marriott set

A child actor's behind-the-scenes tribute to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has become part of JW Marriott's 'Stay in the Moment' rollout.

Presence is the new luxury JW Marriott is selling

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s latest advertising turn has produced a small piece of earned media that does the brand’s work for it. Namah Singh Deewana, the child actor who shares screen space with her in JW Marriott’s new campaign, posted behind-the-scenes photographs and videos from the shoot, calling the experience a dream come true.

Among the images is a selfie featuring Aishwarya and his mother. In his Instagram post, Namah wrote that the actor is “not only the most beautiful woman in the world, but also an absolutely wonderful human being,” describing her as “the embodiment of love, kindness, and grace.”

A co-star’s tribute does what an ad cannot

That warmth, offered unprompted by a co-performer, matters at a moment when luxury hospitality is trying to sell something intangible. Aishwarya was named JW Marriott’s global brand ambassador in June 2026, and the new ‘Stay in the Moment’ campaign is built around presence rather than property features.

The campaign film, shot at JW Marriott Juhu in Mumbai, walks Aishwarya through a string of ordinary rituals:

  • Sharing a meal
  • Raising a toast
  • Discovering something new
  • Celebrating at a wedding with family and friends

What the campaign is really selling

The film closes with the line, “What makes a moment a moment is when you stay in it.” It positions luxury not as a destination or an extravagant stay, but as the attention you bring to an experience. For Hindi cinema audiences, this is familiar territory: Aishwarya’s on-screen persona has long traded on composure, observation and a certain stillness. The brand is borrowing a quality its ambassador already represents.

Namah’s post extends that positioning off-screen. When a young co-star volunteers that an ambassador was warm and present between takes, it lends credibility to a campaign about being fully there. The tribute reads as a real moment, not a scripted one, and it arrives through the same social channel where audiences already follow the star.

For a brand, that is a useful kind of endorsement: not a paid review, but a working partner’s authentic account of what the set felt like. It becomes visible content for the campaign’s own life on social media, without requiring the brand to manufacture a behind-the-scenes beat.

Trade reports carried by Mid-day note that Namah has previously appeared in advertisements featuring Virat Kohli and Amitabh Bachchan; the JW Marriott film now adds Aishwarya to that list and gives the child actor a story he chose to tell himself.

Why it resonates

The campaign’s message is timely for a category that has spent years advertising rooms, pools and buffets. By contrast, ‘Stay in the Moment’ asks audiences to value attention and connection. Aishwarya’s off-camera reputation, now reinforced by a co-star’s public note, becomes part of the proof.
