In an industry where actors often get typecast, Radhikka Madan has built a name that refuses to be boxed in. From playing the fiercely rebellious sister in Pataakha to going fearless and full-throttle in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, and then slipping into the shoes of an ambitious 17-year-old in Angrezi Medium, Radhikka has proved that she is not here to play it safe. She is easily one of the most versatile actors of her generation, and clearly in it for the long run.
Here are five of her performances we absolutely loved watching!
Champa Kumari in Pataakha
In Vishal Bhardwaj’s film Pataakha, Radhikka played Champa Kumari, one half of a constantly warring sister duo. Loud, impulsive, stubborn, and deeply emotional, Champa was not an easy character to pull off. Radhikka embraced the dialect and the chaos of the role with sheer conviction and was praised for her performance.

Supriya “Supri” in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota
In this quirky action-comedy, Radhikka stepped into a completely different zone as Supriya, also known as Supri. Strong, sharp, and physically agile, she matched the film’s eccentric tone with ease. What stood out was her action performance, for which she trained hard and performed high-energy sequences that required both physical strength and comic timing.

Tarika Bansal in Angrezi Medium
Sharing screen space with the late Irrfan Khan is no small feat, but Radhikka more than held her ground as Tarika Bansal, a bright, ambitious teenager dreaming of studying abroad. She captured the innocence and impatience of a 17-year-old with honesty. She carried the role well throughout the film, especially in the quieter father-daughter moments.

Aditi Nath in Kacchey Limbu
In Kacchey Limbu, Radhikka played Aditi Nath, a young woman navigating sibling rivalry and her own sense of identity through cricket. It was a subtle, slice-of-life performance, far removed from loud drama or high-stakes conflict. The performance relied heavily on internal emotion rather than dramatic outbursts, and Radhikka handled it with maturity.
Rani in Sarfira
In Sarfira, Radhikka played Rani, the fiery, independent, and supportive wife of Akshay Kumar’s character. As a Maharashtrian woman, her role blends traditional warmth with modern ambition, requiring her to master a specific dialect and body language, and her chemistry with Akshay was quite appreciated.
