It has been learnt that the fourth instalment of the popular Masti franchise is gearing up for a bold and refreshing twist. Titled unofficially as Masti 4, the film will take a different narrative route from its previous three predecessors, offering audiences a fresh comedic take on relationships and marital chaos.
A source close to the development reveals, “Masti 4 is more of a ‘Reverse Masti’. This time, it’s not just the husbands up to mischief — the wives have their own secrets too. The story revolves around both the male and female protagonists indulging in extra-marital affairs, leading to a hilarious double play that flips the earlier formula on its head.”
While the first three films focused on the comic situations arising from the misadventures of three married men — played by Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani — the fourth part promises to explore a more balanced and unpredictable dynamic, introducing strong female characters who are equally involved in the chaos.
Sources add that the script is laced with witty humour, situational comedy, and unexpected twists, making Masti 4 one of the most anticipated sequels in the adult comedy genre.
Casting details are still under wraps, but pre-production is already underway, with filming expected to begin later this year.
