Drishyam 3 Hits Rs 501.80 Cr Worldwide on Day 12

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has crossed the Rs 500 crore worldwide gross mark, touching Rs 501.80 crore on its twelfth day in cinemas. The figure follows an India net collection of Rs 8.50 crore on Tuesday, October 13, as compiled by Sacnilk.

That Tuesday number matters because it reverses the second Monday slide: it rose 41.7 percent from Rs 6.00 crore the previous day. For a film entering its second week, a midweek bounce signals that the title can still renew its audience once the opening rush has passed.

A milestone built on weekday recovery

The film opened on October 2 with Rs 62.00 crore net in India. Its first week closed at Rs 245.50 crore net, powered by a Rs 61.00 crore Sunday. The second Friday was softer at Rs 14.50 crore, but Saturday recovered to Rs 26.50 crore and Sunday added Rs 22.50 crore. Monday then dropped to Rs 6.00 crore, making Tuesday’s Rs 8.50 crore the clearest sign that weekday demand has not faded.

  • Day 12 India net: Rs 8.50 crore, up 41.7 percent from Rs 6.00 crore on Monday
  • Total India net: Rs 323.50 crore; domestic gross: Rs 387.80 crore
  • Overseas gross: Rs 114.00 crore; worldwide gross: Rs 501.80 crore

The Hindi 2D version recorded 17.21 percent occupancy across 14,846 shows on Tuesday. The day built from 7.23 percent in the morning to 27.92 percent at night, with 607,519 footfalls on the day and a cumulative 13,630,503 admissions so far. Evening-heavy occupancy is a familiar pattern for a suspense drama aimed at multiplex audiences, but the night figure also helps explain how the film added Rs 8.50 crore on a working weekday.

Mohanlal’s endorsement of the Hindi conclusion

The milestone has drawn a nod from Malayalam star Mohanlal, who led the original Drishyam franchise. In a video shared by the makers, he said: “I watched Drishyam: The Conclusion, and I am truly impressed with the way they have brought this much-loved journey to a befitting end.” He congratulated director Abhishek Pathak, producer Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ajay Devgn, and the rest of the cast and crew.

The Hindi film stars Ajay Devgn alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj and Ishita Dutta. Its run will now be watched for how strongly it can carry the Rs 500 crore-plus global figure through the second week and beyond.
