Akshay had generously handed over the title to Ajay back in 2011, calling him his “brother from another mother.” The warm exchange was even acknowledged by Sonakshi Sinha, who thanked Akshay publicly on Twitter.
Despite a major box office clash with Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Son Of Sardaar went on to be a roaring hit. Now, with Son Of Sardaar 2 on the horizon and high-octane posters teasing Ajay in action mode again, fans are ready for another explosive chapter — all thanks to a title that almost wasn’t his.
