What was meant to be one of Bollywood’s most exciting comedy sequels, Welcome To The Jungle, has become a production saga mired in uncertainty. Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, the film boasts a mega ensemble cast—Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, and Jacqueline Fernandez among others. Yet despite all the hype, the film has faced repeated disruptions over the past 6 months.
Multiple shoot schedules—some planned meticulously months in advance—have been cancelled abruptly due to financial and logistical issues, leaving cast and crew in limbo. According to insiders, around 60% of the film is already completed, but the remaining 40% hangs in the balance. Adding to the chaos are reports of unpaid dues to actors and staff. Some members of the original cast have reportedly exited the project, while others remain out of sheer loyalty to the Welcome brand.
“The excitement is wearing off,” said a source close to the production. “Actors are losing out on other opportunities due to these last-minute cancellations. It’s unprofessional, and it’s frustrating.”
Despite the setbacks, the actors are holding onto hope, given the script’s comedic brilliance. However, unless the producers iron out the mess soon, Welcome 3 might end up as the most chaotic jungle Bollywood has ever seen.
