Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is the elder daughter of the late actor Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. The actor made her debut in the film, ‘Dhadak’. She had co-starred with Ishaan Khatter. Janhvi Kapoor was very close to her mother late actor Sridevi whose sudden death had shocked the entire nation. Ever since Janhvi Kapoor has made her big Bollywood debut, she has been constantly compared to her mother.
Recently in an interview, Janhvi Kapoor revealed about being compared to her mother. She said, “Yes, definitely. Earlier, that was something my mom would worry about. She had once said, ‘I hope you’re not compared to me because I have done 300 films and this is your first’. I, somehow, never thought about it. I feel the pressure more now than I did when I was shooting Dhadak,”
The young actress shared that her mother didn’t wanted to disappoint anyone with her performances, She also emphasised the fact that she doesn’t want to disappoint anyone with her performance who have been showering praises till now but want to make her own name in the craft as well.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor had also featured in movies like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. She will be seen sharing the screen with Rajkummar Rao in the horror-comedy ‘Roohi’. The actress also has an upcoming film like ‘Dostana 2’, Good Luck Jerry and Takht. It also stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
