Ameesha Patel is being dragged to High court in a multi-crore cheque bounce fraud case. A petition has been made against the actress was heard in Jharkhand High court by Judge Anand Sen through video. The court heard a statement by both parties and for a written response to be ready in the next 2 weeks.
The petitioner’s advocate and the federal government’s advocate saved their aspect from their respective homes. As per the petition, Ajay Kumar Singh, the litigant met the actress during an event in Harmu Housing Colony back in 2017, wherein the actress allegedly got him to invest in her movie Desi Magic for which he transferred Rs. 2.5 crores in Ameesha’s bank account. As per the complaint, the actress did not go ahead with the film as it was promised and did not pay back the money.
Ajay Kumar Singh is the proprietor of Lovely World Entertainment. As per the reports, Ameesha met Ajay Kumar Singh at an event in 2017 and got him to invest in her film made by her company Desi Magic. He had transferred Rs.2.5 crore to her account for the film, she refused to be a part of it. When the film was not being made, he asked the actress to return his money. She did not return his money and hence she has been dragged to the court. The court has directed the next hearing of the case to be held two weeks later.
