    Late Actor Rishi Kapoor’s Brother Rajiv Kapoor Died At The Age Of 58 In Mumbai

    Veteran actor Rajiv Kapoor who starrer in films like ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ and ‘Hum To Chale Pardes’ passed away on Tuesday. As of now, the official statement from the is still awaited.  

    Rajiv’s sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor took to social media to confirm the news of his dead. She shared a photo of the actor and wrote, “RIP”. Rajiv Kapoor’s brother also confirmed the news of his brother’s death. He said, “I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him.” He added, “I am at the hospital, waiting for his body.”

    Other bollywood celebrities like Lata Mangeshkar, Naved Jafri and actor Tusshar Kapoor also wrote messages on the demise of Rajiv Kapoor. Singer Lata Mangeshkar also took to the twitter and wrote, “Mujhe abhi pata chala ki Raj Kapoor sahab ke chote bete, guni abhineta Rajiv Kapoor ka aaj swargwas hua. Sunke mujhe bahut dukh hua.Ishwar unki aatma ko shanti pradan kare yehi meri prarthana. (I just got to know that Raj Kapoor’s youngest son and talented actor Rajiv Kapoor passed away. I am very sad. May his soul rest in peace.)”

    Director and Tv anchor Naved Jafri tweeted, “He was a pure heart and a very nice human being. May his soul rest in peace, deepest condolences to the family #rajivkapoor #riprajivkapoor.”

    Actor Tusshar Kapoor also mentioned on Twitter, “He was a pure heart and a very nice human being. May his soul rest in peace, deepest condolences to the family #rajivkapoor #riprajivkapoor.”

    Rajiv Kapoor made his directorial debut with the film, ‘Prem Granth’ which starred Madhuri Dixit. He was known as the bollywood legend and his wife Krishna Kapoor on August 25, 1962. In 1983, he acted for the movie, ‘Ek Jaan Hain Hum’. He gained lot of popularity through his father’s last directorial, ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’, 1985. He has also worked in other movie like Aasmaan (1984), Lover Boy (1985), Zabardast (1985) and Hum To Chale Pardes (1988).
