The intimate post-pandemic single by award-winning singer, music composer and music producer Shreya Ghoshal, ‘Angana More‘, Released today. Shreya along with her brother and talented musician, Soumyadeep Ghoshal, created this electropop iod to create love and longing. Interestingly, the entire song, which is an energetic electro bandish track, was produced and produced virtually, with the creative team working independently and then seamlessly coordinating the entire composition.
Shreya says, “The song-making process was a lot of fun because I had a great team of musicians and was constantly searching for new ideas. And then video production was another terrible experience. Because of the fear of COVID-19, I wouldn’t It was easy to go to any studio for a shoot, so the team behind BTOS Productions brought the shoot home. The post-production touch by this team added that surreal and magical factor to the video that just blew us all away. The 3D rendering and graphics that were there. Woven the whole visual experience around me to another level. I should also mention the extraordinary dancer duo of Team Nrityatirek and the choreography of the amazing Shakti Mohan that created wonders. “
Shreya says that this song is very esoteric and intricately woven. It emerged during the ongoing epidemic, giving it a certain poignancy. Shreya says, “The epidemic and the whole 2020 was obviously very disappointing for all of us in many ways. But in a way, there were some blessings in disguise. To be honest, I didn’t get a break that way and I was a Again. Started focusing on my ‘Riaz’ routine. I became a more thoughtful listener and started learning with more focus and a creative mind. Finding small joys in the periphery of my home, I started gardening, Started cooking, cleaning, and doing. I am working on some pending film projects from my home studio. During this phase, my heart was craving to create a song that was part of my semi-classical music roots. Used to resonate with this and the idea was, ‘Angana More ‘ was born.”
The transport song Shreya has a contemporary interpretation of ‘heroine’ in Judaan Ki Thirkan and is choreographed with a similarly subtle dream of quality that transitions from one existential plane to another.
