Tomorrow on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day, Hindi film Uri: The Surgical Strike Starring Vicky Kaushal, will be re-released in theaters. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, was first released in January 2019.
Uri There is a dramatic description of the retaliation for the 2016 Uri attack, which follows Vicky’s character Major Vihan Singh Shergill of the Indian Army, who takes the lead in the events. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film stars Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina and Keerthi Kulhari. The film also won four National Awards including Best Director, Best Actor, Best Audiography and Best Background Score.
Theaters across India were allowed to reopen in mid-October last year with 50% capacity. While Bollywood is yet to release its major films in theaters, the exhibitors and theater owners are trying to bring people back to the cinema hall.
