A day earlier, actress Kangana Ranaut announced that she will be acting in the second installment Manikarnika Franchise title Manikarnika Return: The Legend of Didda. Hours after the film’s announcement, the writer of Didda’s biography has accused Kangana of violating her sole rights.

The author of Didda claims Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika Return: The Legend of Didda violates copyright laws and is illegal

Ashish Cool while speaking to a daily said that it is illegal and a complete violation of the IPR and copyright laws of the country sworn by Kangana. He said that he found it very frightening and disgusting and still unable to believe that he had been misled. He said that he deeply agrees with Kangana Ranaut, who is knowledgeable, clearly a nationalist and a voice for reasons that apparently undermine Didda’s image.

Kangana Ranaut and producer Kamal Jain will join hands to bring back the franchise, after 2019 Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actress had a meeting with Jain last week and locked her new script. Didda was the queen of Kashmir who defeated Mahmud Ghaznavi twice in battle. She had one leg polio but was one of the greatest warriors.
