    GOT7 won’t renew the contract with JYP Entertainment; Mark Tuan posts a heartfelt message dedicated to the members and fans 

    South Korean popular male group GOT7 has reportedly decided not to renew the contract with its agency JYP Entertainment. News is that after a few days members Jinyoung and Yugyeom were in talks with BH Entertainment and AOMG, respectively, to venture to a solo career. According to a report in Dispatch Media on 10 January 2021, GOT7 will perform for the last time as a group at the 2021 Golden Disc Awards before deciding to undertake group activities in the future.

    According to Dispatch, “The members of GOT7 are very close. They agreed to stay together, but they didn’t agree on their agency’s choice. After several discussions with the company, they decided to participate.” ” “Members care a lot about GOT7. Although they would promote each separately, they agreed to make it to the reunion of GOT7. “

    Reportedly, JB, the leader of the group, is in talks with the hip hop label as well as a global music label. He is currently planning to find the right company that will help his solo career. Mark planned to return to Los Angeles and live with his family. He plans to launch his YouTube channel and work on his solo music in the United States. Jackson Wang, who is the CEO of the Team Wang label, will carry out his global activities under his label and work on Korean activities through a separate agency.

    Jinyoung is currently in final negotiations to sign an exclusive contract with agency BH Entertainment, under which the popular actor. Youngzai has reportedly been approached by the Sublime Artist Agency, home to well-known names such as Song Kang Ho, Ren, Exids Hani, and more. The agency has confirmed that they are in talks with him. Bombam will try to balance its work with the help of a content production agency between South Korea and Thailand. He is reportedly in talks with MakeUs Entertainment. Finally, Yugyeom is in the final stages of signing a contract established by singer, songwriter, and rapper Jay Park with AOMG, South Korean hip-hop and R&B record label, a JYPE alum.

    According to the news reported by Dispatch, JYP Entertainment said that they could not confirm which members are currently in contact. They will soon announce their status regarding the contract renewal of GOT7 with an official statement.

    Mark, the eldest member of GOT7, chose to be the first to talk about the group parting ways with his agency, but assured that they would continue to present their best to fans. “The last 7 years have been the best years of my life. Nothing is happening, just the beginning. The seven of us are going to continue to bring you the best version of us to the end. # GOT7FOREVER.” He wrote on Twitter. The same photo was posted by all members with the hashtag #GOTForever.

    It was not surprising to fans that the group opted not to renew their contracts with the label. Over the years, they have expressed their concern over the lack of promotion for the group and have not been able to give them the platform they deserve. Despite this, fans named Ahgis continue their support. Since the news release, several hashtags have trended on Twitter, as well as dedicated messages to fans.
