Actor Irrfan Khan is one of the finest actors of the Indian film Industry. A man who stood out for is ability to create his own words in his films. Irrfan’s career spanned over 30 years and earned him numerous accolades, including a National Film Award. The actor breathed his last on April 29 last year due to a long battle with cancer.
On his first death anniversary, the social media has been flooded with tributes for the late actor from fans and celebrities. Kareena Kapoor who worked with him in the film ‘Angrezi Medium’, remembered her co-star. She took to her Instagram and shared a picture of the late actor wherein he can seen smiling.

Radhika Madan who also played Irrfan Khan’s daughter in ‘Angrezi medium’ also shared her memories with the actor. She wrote, “I remember I was playing with his beard before the shot and he told me you know what maybe this is the reason ‘Champak’ would not have cut his beard…I was like exactly! And we laughed. We had created our own pool of memories, our own bubble..where there were no words,”
Several other celebrities have been sharing pictures and paying homage to the late actor. Actor Tillotama Shone wrote, “Papaji, Your breath lingers on in the ether… Swallowed the missing and focussed on the dancing light. As things burn around us, I think of your extraordinary light. All my love to Suttapa, Babil and Ayan today and every day.”
Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan penned an emotional note on his father’s death anniversary. He posted a throwback photo of Irrfan, “Nobody can ever replace him. Nobody will ever be able to. To the greatest best friend, companion, brother, father, I ever had and ever will have.”
